I saw a blog post that LaidOffInNYC wrote showing the recent E-Trade commercial from the Super Bowl and had to chuckle a bit. YES the economy is tough, and for those of us who are seeking work, that commercial did hit home a bit. Having been out of work since September I’ve been very optimistic this past month having four separate interviews since the start of the year.

I’m actually meeting with an investment professional on Friday to discuss my current state and where I want to be, I’ve got some investments in 401K’s scattered with previous employers, and want to find a good way to consolidate them as it’s hard to keep track of other than getting quarterly statements and not really following up on ‘is it working for me?’
